Now Hiring · Salem, Virginia

204 acres, 40+ horses,
and a farm being built
in real time.

We're a family operation in Salem, Virginia, building a riding club, a guest house, and a working farm all at once. We're hiring the people who are going to help build it.

Who You'd Be Working For

A family that's out there every day.

We're not a corporate farm and there's no HR department between you and the people who own the place. You'd work directly with the family, on the property, on the things that are actually happening that week.

Horses arriving by the trailerload. Acreage being cleared. Buildings going up. A guest house filling with people who came for the mountains.

If you'd rather build something than maintain something, read on.

Every role here is attached to something you can walk out and put your hand on.

Why Work Here

Small operation. Short distance between deciding and doing.

We can't offer you a big company's benefits stack. What we can offer is real ownership of real work, on a property that is visibly changing month to month.

What that actually means

  1. 01

    Owners who decide fast

You'll work directly with the family that owns the place. Decisions happen in a conversation, not a committee.

  2. 02

    Real projects, real budget

Horses arriving, acreage being cleared, buildings going up. The work is funded and it's happening now.

  3. 03

    No two weeks the same

Some weeks are steady. Some weeks a trailer shows up and the whole plan changes.

  4. 04

    Work you can point at

Everyone here can walk the property and show you something they built, cleared, fixed, or filmed.

We're small enough that what you do shows up on the property, in the bookings, and in the books.

How Hiring Works

Five steps. One of them pays.

It's the same shape for every role. What changes is what we ask you to send us at the start.

  1. 1

    Send us your application

No cover letter for either role. Each posting tells you exactly what to send instead — and it's the work, not a résumé.

  2. 2

    A short phone call

About fifteen minutes. High level, on your experience and how you approach the work.

  3. 3

    Visit the farm

Walk the property, meet the horses, and find out whether you actually like it here.

  4. 4

    A paid working day

A real day of work on the farm, paid at your rate. We don't ask anyone to work for free.

  5. 5

    Final conversation & offer

If we both like how it went, we make it official.

The Farm & Property Manager role also requires a background check before moving forward.

Come See The Place

The best way to know if this is for you is to stand on it.

Every hire we make walks the property before anyone commits to anything. Bring boots, meet the horses, and look at the work up close.

If one of these roles sounds like you, send it in and let's find out.
